Roll It Up

This is how the menfolk in our family store their pants. We roll them up and stick them in the drawers in rows like this. They can pull out the exact pair they want without rifling through the drawer and messing everything up. When they were younger, I would roll up a t-shirt, underwear, and pair of socks inside the pants. Then they could just grab a roll and be all set for the day. The bigger they have gotten, the more they like to choose which t-shirt to wear with which pair of pants, so only the pants are rolled now. I do pack for trips using the outfit in a roll concept though.

Check out other great tips here.

What a great idea. I need to try that! We recently did some room re-arranging and so I am in need of organizing the dressers - this will help! Thanks!

My hubby does this with his pants as well and his t-shirts but he has so many they are still on top of each other.

It is a great method for packing on trips.

Awesome. Going to brave my boys' room now to find out if this might finally be the solution to our "can't see the floor for the clothes" issue. Thanks! I'm a fan of rolling too, just never thought to do it with pants!

Kudos!! That's what I do with the kids' drawers, so they don't make a mess with t shirts, shorts, pants, etc. Plus, you can put more in the drawer! :) Of course, I learned how to do that in the Army...
